It is a strange experience, waking up without any idea of who or even what you are. Not to mention where you are or how you got there. But that is precisely the situation for a pink, sentient, crystalline orb waking up in an old, dilapidated building in the middle of a seemingly abandoned city. While investigating its surroundings, it manages to accidentally summon a small demon-like creature. A startling development, to say the least, but she is pretty cute and seems friendly enough, so why not summon a few more? What is the worst that could happen? It is not like they are caught on the sidelines of a devastating war that is threatening to pull them in at any moment or anything like that…right? But avoiding such hassles should not be too hard. Mind your own business, stay away from things that are dangerous, do not approach things that look like they might want to hurt you and do not go around picking fights. Easy right? Unfortunately, things are not always so simple. It is a dangerous world out there. Even if you do not go looking for trouble, that does not mean trouble will not come looking for you.
