Scraping Policy

PageMarrow collects metadata — titles, authors, cover images, ratings, and update timestamps — to help readers discover books. We never collect, store, or republish the text of any book or chapter.

How we gather metadata

  • We identify with a standard mobile user-agent and do not disguise our traffic as a real reader.
  • We rate-limit to roughly one request per second per source.
  • We respect robots.txt and back off on 429 responses.
  • We link readers back to the original platform — discovery should drive traffic to creators, not away from them.

Where a platform offers a partnership or an API, we prefer it to scraping. A platform or creator can ask us to stop gathering their metadata at any time.
