Attribution & Source Credit
This page states PageMarrow’s position on the cover images and synopses we display. It is the platform’s policy stance, not legal advice.
Covers and synopses are discovery metadata
Cover images and synopses (book descriptions) are publisher- and platform-supplied metadata. We surface them so readers can recognize and discover a work, then send them to the legitimate source to read it. Cover images may be re-hosted on our own storage (r2.pagemarrow.com) for fast, reliable delivery, and synopses are stored as text metadata. We always credit the source platform a work came from.
We never store book text
PageMarrow never fetches, stores, frames, or proxies the actual text of any book or chapter. The only things we keep are discovery metadata — title, author, cover, synopsis, ratings — and an outbound link to where you can legitimately read the work.
Our rights basis
We only ingest from sources on our legitimate-source allowlist, and we credit each work to the platform it came from. We treat this cover and synopsis metadata as fair use for discovery and reference, surfaced to drive readers back to the original creator and platform — never to substitute for reading the work.
Takedown and opt-out
Authors and rights holders can have a cover, synopsis, or entire record removed. We honor same-day creator takedown requests; for the formal copyright process see our DMCA policy. For how we treat works in AI-training contexts, see our AI training policy.
Source-credit corrections or takedown requests can be sent to policy@pagemarrow.com.
