On a slow or flaky connection, opening a page could briefly treat you as signed out — showing “Sign in to rate” and similar prompts even though you were logged in. Every page now recognizes your session instantly, without waiting on the network.

Book pages now show each book's own description in search results and link previews, instead of a generic line — so you can tell what a book is about before you click.

After you track a book, the confirmation now says clearly what happens: the book is saved to your account, while the original link you pasted stays private on your device and shows on your shelf.

If you had more than 8 unread notifications, the bell could show 8 instead of the real number. It now always shows exactly how many you have waiting.

The account button in the header now shows your initials instead of a generic placeholder, and the notification bell correctly shows how many unread notifications you have.

Opening a book page directly — from a search result or a shared link — now shows your shelf and lets you rate it straight away, instead of asking you to sign in again. And the ratings breakdown now shows the real star distribution instead of all zeros.

The book catalog now sorts by how many people follow each book by default, instead of a random order. Pick a genre from a list instead of guessing at the spelling, and Top rated now reflects real reader ratings from the platforms.

The feedback form and the takedown request form now show that your message is being sent and stop you from sending it twice by accident. And if something goes wrong, your text stays in the box instead of disappearing.

PageMarrow may now occasionally show a short, optional question on book pages and after a search that finds nothing — help us learn what to add. It only appears if you've accepted analytics, and you can always skip it.

The footer's "Send feedback" link now opens a page on PageMarrow instead of your email app, so you can send a message without leaving the site.

On phones, the small Sign in link at the top of the page now disappears as soon as you're signed in — and comes back if you sign out.

On the Track page, when a pasted link doesn't look like a book, the explanation now stays on screen instead of disappearing after a few seconds — with a button to try another link.

Saved reading links now appear on your shelf next to each book instead of the track page. They're still saved only on your device.

You can paste any book's link into the track box — whether the site is covered or not. If the book is already on PageMarrow it lands straight on your shelf, even when the site dresses up its page title. If it isn't here yet, the book's title and author are captured onto the demand list so a legal source can be found. Pages that aren't books at all get turned away.

On a book's page, adding a source from a site that isn't on the allowlist now goes through as a request for review instead of dead-ending with an error message.

On any book page you can now add a source — paste a URL, pick the language and whether it's the original, an official translation, a fan translation, or an audiobook, and you're done. If it checks out automatically, it goes live straight away. Otherwise it goes into review.

On the demand board, every title now has a button for readers who know where that book is legally available to submit that source directly. The more people do this, the faster wanted titles get sourced.

When a title you voted for on the demand board gets a legitimate source and joins the catalog, you get an in-app notification and an email.

Both come with a one-click way to add the book straight to your shelf. The email has a one-click unsubscribe — or turn it off anytime in Settings.

Every book page now has a shelf control. Add or move a book between Want to read, Reading, Completed, Dropped, and DNF, drop it onto your own custom shelves, and mark it read with a date you can edit.

On your reading stats you can now set a yearly reading goal — a number of books or hours — and edit it any time. Your progress bar tracks it.

The featured banner on the homepage now shows the book cover on phones, not just on wider screens.

Your account now lives in one menu on your avatar — dashboard, reading stats, library import, notifications, your following feed, and settings are all a tap away, and the same set shows up in the mobile menu.

There's a new Best of page that gathers every topic guide in one place — pick a genre or theme and see the most-followed webnovels for it, each linking to where you can read it. Find it in the footer under Discover.

Every book page now shows a clear button to its full similar-books list, even for a book that has no matches lined up yet — so the path to related reads is always one click away.

PageMarrow now tells you when the books you track get new chapters. Track a book, and updates come to your inbox — no more checking each platform yourself.

Premium readers get a daily email the day a chapter drops. Everyone else gets a tidy weekly summary every Sunday. If nothing new happened that week, you get nothing — no filler emails.

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe that works without logging in, and you can turn the digest and alerts on or off anytime in Settings.

If you read on Royal Road, you can now paste your profile URL and import your favorites in one step — your books show up on your shelf without searching for each one.

Reading on Webnovel, Wattpad, Scribble Hub, or another supported platform? Paste the URLs of your books and the same import flow handles them.

Books already in the catalog go straight to your shelf. Books not yet added get queued for review and appear once they check out.

Every book page now links to a dedicated Similar Books page — a deeper list of titles that match its theme and style, each linking to where you can read it.

New topic guides round up the best webnovels by genre and popular tag, so it is easier to find the top LitRPG, Progression Fantasy, Cultivation, and more in one place.

Book pages now show chapter count, status, and when a story was last updated when that information is available — so you can tell at a glance whether a book is still going.

The catalog got a deep clean. Books written in other languages, fanfiction collections, and comics have been removed — PageMarrow now catalogs English-language prose webnovels and books, full stop.

New submissions pass the same bar automatically, so what you find here stays worth finding.

Author bylines now appear on books that were added before author profile pages existed. Clicking through to the author page isn't available yet for those entries, but the name is there.

Genre and platform on the Browse page are now clickable lists with live counts, so finding a genre or platform is one tap instead of typing it out.

The trending leaderboard has been retired. It leaned on a single stale list; the homepage now does a better job — showing what's rising on each platform, ranked by the signals readers there actually follow. Head to the homepage to discover what's worth reading.

Tidied up the catalog — removed entries that had no working way to read the book. Everything you find now links out to somewhere you can actually go read it.

The homepage is now organised by where books live — a section for Royal Road, one for Scribble Hub, and more as the catalog grows. Each section surfaces that platform's standout titles ranked by the signals readers there care about.

Up top, a rotating featured banner cycles through the best pick from each platform, so there's always something new to click into.

PageMarrow enters its Founders Beta — the first public version, built in the open with the readers who show up early. Discover fiction from across the web in one place, keep a personal shelf of what you're reading, and rate the titles you love.
