When a higher-dimensional entity decides to cast you in a leading role for a story, who can really say no? Though, it would be helpful if they provided a script (everyone else has one, it isn't quite fair). And of course re-shoots are a persistent pain to deal with. What do you mean the battles won't be CGI? The Narrator, having completed his telling of The Stanley Parable, decides to whisk away a "Freshly Available" mortal from Earth and have him play the role of his new Stanley's starter Pokemon. Things do not go as planned, and the two quickly find themselves trying to put together a new plan to salvage the story. 12/30/2024: Reworked the first 14 chapters to implement grammar fixes, and remove most of the unintended horror elements.
