In Volume I: Solar Replay , the story begins with Ampelius in the city of Vetera (Seattle in our timeline). When the sky tears open and plunges the city into darkness—followed by the unnatural eruption of Mount Nerva—he’s forced into a fight for survival against forces far larger than rebellion. But Ampelius’ story is only the beginning. Each volume in the trilogy shifts perspective, following new lives bound together in Rome’s shadow, weaving into one larger saga. Because something is coming. Something Rome is not prepared for. 📚 Planned Volumes (Updated 7/8/2026) A World of Roma: Solar Replay — Complete (~100%) · 96k words written (Total) Note: Forward (Volume II) will conclude this fiction.  News : I’m working to finish my final set of classes for my bachelor’s degree in Military History by end of this month, and on top of that I'm also preparing to move into a new home by in early August. I will do my best to upload a chapter on Mondays, but chances are I won't be able to until mid August. I will do my best to keep this gap as short as possible, but I can't promise anything.  That said, once Forward is completed, I plan to begin working on a new project set in a completely different universe, with a new series called Dead Era . But don’t worry, A World of Roma is far from over. I’ve been working (and learning how to write) on this series for over four years now, and I simply want to take a short break to explore something new before returning to it. And Forward already has its first arc fully written (approximately 53,000 words), so aside from minor revisions and preparation for weekly uploads, the second and final arc is currently being written.
