About
A story inspired by sci-fi, horror, impossible love, and what makes us human. Antihuman is about a ragtag group of cyborgs, aliens, and AI dealing with impossible oppressive forces in order to survive. It deals with heavy themes like mental illness, death, torture, sacrifice and explores what it means to truly be alive. Dane is a young man with a mental health AI implant from a rich, high-tech life thrust into the seedy underbelly of his city, outrunning an entire army of people who want to rip him apart. His implant has gone sentient, and directs him accordingly to save his life. A sentient AI is bad news, though, and what's the life of one young man to prevent a catastrophe should the AI develop malicious ideals? Guided by his only friend, Dane ducks through the horrors of the underworld, meeting half-machine cyborgs and displaced aliens in a foreign place of neon lights and scavenged tech. He has to find a place to live and hide, endlessly pursued by forces who want to see the implant ripped from his brain.
