Nate was a washed-up, near thirty year old guitarist.  In fact, he could be the most cranky, abrasive guitarist in the world... The post-band life wasn’t exactly an easy one; restless nights fretting over his past, a diet of gas station burgers and caffeine-packed energy drinks, along with an exhausting labor job- it was no wonder he had an awful attitude. As he went to his back-breaking construction job, tired and miserable, he expected the shift to start and end typically, with him busting his ass... but then world took a turn for the worse, finding his entire reality shattered and swept into the World-Pile. Goblins, zombies, mutants and even vampires stalked the ruined streets of this new magical Earth now, amongst other creatures, but with his guitar-axe, a grit of steel, and the powers of a twisted god’s system, he’d carve his path in this mad world as the Bardbarian, being a rare individual granted two simultaneous classes. Along the way, maybe, just maybe... he could learn to be a better man then he currently was. He'd reconnect with his band, make his wrongs right, and preserve the art of Heavy Metal for this apocalyptic world. Should be easy enough, as Heavy Metal would never die... but everything else sure would. Especially if they got in his way.
