For years Ash has lived as an orphan, a stray, a slave to his cruel fate. However, destiny is a fickle thing. When the world is rent asunder by a divine beast from the stars he finds himself cast adrift, tossed into the Fragmented Wilds, a nebula of broken and dead worlds. The people there encourage him to accept his crafting class and move on, find peace among a community of those like him who have lost everything. But Ash can't rest. Because he knows the calamity that destroyed his world wasn't a random accident. The divine beast had come for him . And it would come again. If Ash wants to survive he'll have to acquire enough power to challenge even the divine, an impossible task for a mere crafter. At least, it would be if not for the power hidden within his blood.
