About

Kai chose the one blessing no one wanted. In a world where Skills decide a person’s worth, future, and chances of survival, that choice should have ruined him. Thalior is a god so reviled that even the other gods treat his name like a stain. Yet his blessing does one thing no other can: it lets Kai borrow Skills for a day. But the first time he uses it, something goes wrong. Renewal takes him. He wakes inside the Verdant Cradle, a dungeon that tests people based on the Skills they have. Thalior’s blessing turns him into something the dungeon cannot predict, and cannot ignore. And Kai is not the only one caught in it. Renewal pairs him with Rin, who is already fighting for her life by the time he wakes. Surviving Renewal is only the beginning. Beyond it lie guilds, contracts, divine prejudice, dangerous dungeons, and the kind of wounds a new start cannot erase. Renewal can give someone a new path. It cannot make them new. And once Thalior’s blessing starts breaking the rules, one question begins to matter more than any borrowed Skill: Who is Thalior, and what did he do to be rejected by everyone? ~~~ What to expect - Party-focused adventure with two central leads, Kai and Rin. - Guild politics and social danger: reputation, contracts, and religious prejudice can be as threatening as monsters. - Slice-of-life moments between danger: banter, travel, camps, villages, training, recovery. - Skill-based progression, not EXP grinding: choices, resource management, and builds matter. - Tactical action: fights focus on positioning, teamwork, counters, adaptation, and creative problem-solving. - Dungeons and bestiary: dungeons are a recurring part of the world, with monsters inspired by European folklore and beyond. - Romance: it will be present, but it will not drive the story. ~~~ AI note: Beyond Renewal is originally written in French. AI is only used to translate it into English and make the phrasing sound more natural. It does not contribute to the plot, characters, or creative direction. Updates: Mon/Wed/Fri.
