A sapphic sci-fi adventure about girls who pilot giant robots to fight monsters both without and within. — Abi, a skilled blaze pilot from a remote village, spends her days hunting the colossal beasts that threaten her home. But when a routine hunt is interrupted by Vil, an intriguing princess from a far off nation, the two find themselves on a mission to find the ruins of an ancient colony ark which could lead to the discovery of both incredible technology, and the fate of Abi's mother. Vil's ascent through the ranks to become a champion duelist failed to earn the respect of her family that she so desperately craved. This expedition is her last chance, and she won't let anything stop her from finding glory and returning humanity to the stars once more. But there's a strange voice in Vil's head named Olivarra who claims to be a version of herself from another world. Olivarra offers friendship, guidance, and strange powers, promising that Vil would be much happier if she gives up her quest in favor of her growing attraction to Abi, and the peaceful life they could share together. Because Olivarra knows best. Because Olivarra has done this all before.
