About
Officer Misako Aiko was there when the bomb went off. Halfway around the world, Detective Alex Stokes needs to help her catch the one responsible before it happens again . Despite her job, Officer Misako Aiko didn't expect to find a bomb in Narita Airport, or to be the last person to see its victims alive. The other thing she didn't expect to see? The prime suspect. She did, though, and that sends her from Japan to Canada in search of answers. Unfortunately for her, she gets partnered up with Detective Alex Stokes of the Toronto time-crime division, an officer who works far better on his own. What he lacks in social skills, he more than makes up for in investigative acumen... at least if he's the one telling the story. Together, the two will need to get past their personal differences if they're to have a chance at piecing together how an impossible crime was committed, and to stop it from happening again. Except, in a world where hours are bought and sold on the open market, and used to pause time, crime has taken on a whole new level of complexity, and dangerous enemies are around every corner. ______________________________________________________________________ What to expect: - Dual-POV's / MCs - Low-Sci-Fi.
