When he opened his eyes again, Luke was no more. A smaller body with softer hands and a child’s face reflected back at him in the water. The name Lucien whispered in his mind like it had always belonged to him, and he hears “Welcome home Lucien”. For the first time in his life, he wasn’t looking back.
