About

This story is about: a slow-burn build up of a battle-healer who exploits her medical and scientific knowledge to empower her magic and martial art.  Readers can expect: [an attempted] mix between Beneath the Dragoneye Moons, Azarinth Healer, and House of Cards; a world full of mysteries and secrets; [hopefully] interesting side characters; fighting with magic, fists, and politics Short Synopsis In a world where no one can cure the Undead Disease nor qualify to replace the useless bloodline of the Popes, a doctor is called to use their medical knowledge to solve the greatest problems that—quite literally—plague this reality. [Slightly] Extended Synopsis The head of a Great Family in Lumina, Lucianus Claudius, strikes a deal with a supernatural entity to receive an heir to dethrone the Pope who, allegedly, killed his beloved sister. On the other side of the universe, a doctor-in-training is about to finish her double-specialty when she gets an offer to fight for the survival of two planets. Reincarnated as a newborn, Lily has to face a series of challenges that she'll have to solve through her cunning, her superior medical knowledge, and her courage.  One chapter a day Thursday through Sunday, four total. Rest Monday through Wednesday.
