Destiny Marine will return 2025. Five hundred years after the apocalypse, the country of Arcadia is not the worst place in the world to live. Sure, the military is running the show, food is rather on the pricey side, and general society is in a constant state of upheaval due to the disruptive rise of cultivation, but to a young man like Isaac, things aren’t entirely terrible. He has a roof over his head and a handful of close friends. All he wants to do is continue living a quiet life in his backwater mining town. Fate has other plans for him. The death of a loved one throws him into the wider world of cultivation, where he investigates a vast conspiracy involving government cultivators, revolutionary movements, corporate samurai, and long-dead heroes that threatens the entire planet. Isaac faces a long road ahead of him, but he chose this one, and he’ll follow it to the end, no matter where it takes him. Destiny Marine is set in a world inspired by both the industrial/post-WWI period as well as xianxia novels. Chapters will be 2000 - 2500 words. Book 1 is complete; Book 2 is now underway with chapters releasing every day.
