About
No gods. No masters. Only Eternity... said the entity that was both System and God. It didn't quite understand irony. Klaus's life takes a turn for the weird when Eternity saves his life from a full-frontal collision and drops him off on Oresstria #2111. What could a godlike AI need with a burned out service engineer from Earth?! Used to solving everyone's problems all the damn time, Klaus finds that he can't just accept the entity's evasive answers. "Nothing is expected of you" just sounds too good to be real. In Klaus's experience, that generally means there's a hidden clause somewhere that's going to skin him alive. Oresstria seems heavenly at first glance. Silver forests. Rabbit folk. Ancient ruins full of wonder. An orbital elevator clawing at the sky. Beautiful... if you ignore the brain-slurping headcrabs, carnivorous giant mushrooms, and mechabears lurking in dungeons that don’t forgive mistakes. Sometimes, the path to healing from the past takes you through several dungeons and a whole lot of monsters. Klaus has tried most everything else, so he's going to hold on to this second chance at life with both hands... and probably with teeth too. ----------------------------------- What to expect: - Weak to strong to walking calamity progression. - No easy shortcuts to power. - Lots of swearing. - A human protagonist with plenty of failings and room to grow. - Lack of coffee and what that does to a man. - Several magic systems working together. - An infuriating AI companion you'll grow to love. ----------------------------------- Update schedule: Monday and Friday
