After defeating the Gok, the greatest villain Mik's world has ever seen, Mik is left to pick up the pieces left in Gok's wake. This short story is personal- Mik struggles to accept the loss of his best friend Jon and the distance he has put between him and his other friends. Just as Mik feels himself sinking deeper into misery, a chance encounter gives him the hope he needs to keep going and learn to live again.
