What exactly qualifies as the end of the world? When humanity ceases to exist, or when humanity ceases to evolve? Rain Leclair awakened five years into the future with no memories of his life prior to that moment. But even worse was that his awakening had occurred at a time when earth was overturned by ruins, and the dangers caused by the ‘mutated beasts’ now roaming its land had dwindled out the number of its major inhabitants: humans.  Knowing nothing of himself, besides what information he’d received from the mysterious Plexus, Rain journeys through a desolated world he does not recall, while piecing together the broken shards of his existence in an attempt to make himself whole.
