He died because of his own delusions. After harassing a beautiful girl, believing himself to be above consequences, he was confronted by her boyfriend. The confrontation ended with Luke being struck, causing him to stumble backward into oncoming traffic. His life ended instantly as his head was crushed beneath the wheel of a car. However, death was not the end for him. Luke was reincarnated as a newborn girl named Luna, and now he must learn how to navigate a world before the Great War.
