Psst. Want to see a dead corporation bite back? I woke up stabbed, amnesiac, and bankrupt. Then the day got worse. Seriously, can you imagine it? First there was a blood-craving, mind-hacking monster carrying a fragment of the Abyss, a hijacked Astral ship, and a lunar megacity directly in its path. Then came the Void-blasted angelic Inquisition. After that, I had to survive something even less forgiving: elven corporate law. And all of this landed on yours truly: Damien Ar-Mephistael, reserve Luminar of the Demon Slayer Order, legally recognized baron, and newly confirmed CEO of Evolvica, a lunar magitech corporation whose surviving assets consist mostly of valuable patents, dangerous secrets, and rubble. Well, of course, I have help: a nine-tailed Astral fox with strong opinions and engineering tendencies, an angelic researcher who treats pain as diagnostic data, and a sarcastic System with numerous demands and the attitude of a grumpy, jealous wife. Ugh. I am still trying to determine whether any of this actually qualifies as help or merely as additional complications. So, burdened with all this baggage, suffering from amnesia and a complete zeroing, I am apparently expected to revive my dying corporation, reclaim my heretic legacy, unravel a couple dozen ancient secrets, and save a couple of civilizations along the way. This is kingdom-building with patents instead of farmland, factories instead of castles, Astral ships instead of cavalry, and lawyers instead of siege engines. The lawyers are worse. To all hostile parties: Evolvica is not dead. It is undergoing aggressive restructuring. What to Expect Zeroed, Not Helpless Damien has lost his power and memories, not his instincts, experience, or ability to improvise under pressure. Corporation-Building on the Moon Recruitment, investment, patents, production, industrial expansion, Astral ships, and a ruined House dragged back into business. Aspect-Based Magic and Magitech Five aspects of mana, Core engineering, rituals, artifacts, Astral technology, and sorcery treated as a dangerously precise science. Tactical Action with Consequences Damien often survives by thinking faster than enemies who are much stronger than he is. Mistakes hurt, damage persists, and victories have costs. A System with Her Own Agenda Sarcastic, possessive, damaged, and hiding a secret that reaches far beyond Damien’s missing past. Dangerous Allies and Slow-Burn Relationships Trust must be earned. Everyone has secrets. Alliances become personal, messy, and occasionally terrifying. Romance exists, but this is not a harem story.
