Book 2. Must read Loving the Fighter first. Jax, Carter and the others did it. They made it out of their criminal conversion camp and their new lives have begun but it's not as easy as they had hoped for it to be. Jax and Carter struggle with allowing new alters to help in their lives. Ryder has trouble leaving the house out of fear of being assaulted again. Liam tries to balance spending time with his boyfriend, working a part time job, and going to school at the same time. Callum has to force himself to not slip into old habits. Will the five help each other get through this or will they find themselves growing apart from the others?
