In the year 2072, only two types of species are left in South Korea; those who are humans and those who are perfect. Science has advanced enough so that women can ‘create’ a perfect child. Before birth, one is given a choice to genetically modify their offspring so that they are flawless. Minhyuk is flaw-free; his parents have handpicked his features and chosen the traits he has. As a child, he’s never fallen once as he learned how to walk and has never gotten sick. Taehee is the polar opposite of Minhyuk. She’s human -- nothing was fixed in advance or changed before she was born. She is clumsy and was a sickly child growing up. Taehee lives on ‘the other side’ with those who are as equally as flawed as her. When Minhyuk meets Taehee by chance, he can’t stop thinking about her, and he yearns to see her fall just once more, and even wants to try it himself. When he falls in love with her, he will have to go against all the odds and all the consequences of fighting for a human he’s forbidden to love. Minhyuk and Taehee come from two different worlds. They’re not supposed to know about each other but they do, and so the story goes…
