Oakleaf Gilderwood is the world's greatest master of healing magic, on a planet dominated by constant military conflict. Separated from friends, family, and any of the conventions of his everyday life, James must survive the conflict he finds himself a part of, and then somehow find a way back to his former life in Scotland.      Expect action, plot twists, humor and unconventional problem solving, in a medieval world  more focused on magic than technology. This world is a dangerous place with Chaos ever-present, and hiding in unexpected places.
