About
Kelly McCreedy has been accepted to grad school overseas, studying under a professor whose work he idolizes. Unfortunately, a gender-neutral name, a remarkably persistent clerical error and some horrific travel luck conspire to place him mere feet away from one of the world’s premier force-fem facilities - the sort of place that kidnaps awful boys and turns them into remarkable women. What can you do? It happens. Kelly quickly learns that he knows nothing and understands even less about navigating life in England, but he does know that you can get by with a little help from your friends. It’s probably worth knowing, however, just how many of your friends are kidnappers and torturers and whether their definition of “help” aligns at all with yours. Nobody solves all their problems on their own. It takes a village. This story is part of the broader Dorleyverse, tied to ‘The Sisters of Dorley’ series by Alyson Greaves. While the story is more Dorley-adjacent than anything, it lives in the world she defined and a number of characters play a role. (Note: It's dangerous to put a story ahead of the Dorley timeline, but I'm trying to make as few assumptions as possible beyond having characters actually do some of the things they suggest they might in the current story. So far, I'm good through Chapter 47, I think. I also pay some attention to Dorleypilled and Invisible String because we share a timeline.)
