Jay, a young cable installation tech suffering from a horrible accident is given a choice: Die from his injuries or undergo an experimental procedure that would end with him locked in a computer simulation. A game. But it's not a game for Jay as there is no logging out; for him that game is now his life. Follow Jay in his adventures as he comes to terms with a new reality. This story is written in a peril-light style and focuses on the main character as he lives his daily life in a simulation. He is not a combat focused character but does run through plenty of dungeons. Those looking for a main character chasing a god-given destiny or a vital world-defining quest might do better to look at other stories. Jay is not a savior, but he is helpful at heart. This story is updated daily, with minor exceptions for appointments and life events.
