A theological urban fantasy inspired by the symbolism and moral ambiguity of series like Bleach, Hellsing, and Devil May Cry, focused on religious questions surrounding divinity, authority, and righteousness like that of the Divine Comedy / Paradise Lost. Maximilian Caelumon is a struggling exorcist and devil hunter living in the fictional city of Nuevo Amanecer, a corrupt coastal town located between LA and San Diego. His business, Blood Shoppe, appears to be an eccentric firearms store on the outside. He has a boatload of debt to pay off and is constantly working to attend to his shop and clients. So when he and his gang catch an opportunity for a get-rich-quick scheme, they pounce on it. However, the three of them soon get wrapped up in a heavy storm that unravels from a simple heist to a thousands year old war between heaven, earth, and hell.
