About
Kassian "Kass" Rho, once prince of a Great Mech House, was meant to inherit a legacy. Instead, he was cast out. Disgraced and exiled by his own family, Kass wakes in the scrapyard town of Forsaken on moon Drosk-3, with nothing but ash in his lungs, rust on his hands, and the memory of a mistake no one will let him forget. Then the Blueprint Nexus activates. An ancient design system buried amidst the junk, the Nexus learns from combat and scrap, evolving its mechs with each battle. With it, Kass builds his prototype: the Scraphawk. But the Dead Zones are brutal. Rival scavengers, rogue gangs, and elite heirs prowl the wastes. And above them all looms the Interstellar Mech Expo, a galactic tournament where titans clash for glory. Armed with junk, grit, and the Nexus’s evolving tech, Kass enters the fight. Every hard-fought victory teaches the Nexus more. Every salvaged part becomes a chance to rebuild. Every battle pushes the Scraphawk closer to something no Great House saw coming. The underdog is rising. He was thrown away. Now, with a found crew at his back and a sarcastic AI in his ear, he builds his future one salvaged part at a time. And if he plays it right, he won’t just survive. He’ll rise as the Scrap King. ################################### [Rewrite Notice] Book 1 is currently being rewritten and expanded. The core story, cast, and progression remain the same, but the early chapters are being rebuilt with stronger pacing, more character development, and a less rushed path into Kass’s growth. As I've mentioned before, I had originally started writing this story on WebNovel, where usually chapters are shorter. If you tried the story before and bounced off the opening, this is the version I always wanted it to grow into. ##################### [What to Expect] There is a light System element in the story, but I didn't want to use the tag because I think I use it lightly compared to other system/litrpg stories. This is my first story, so I'm looking forward to hear from readers and improve my storytelling and writing. That's all I can think of right now, if something else comes up I'll write it here or in the chapter author notes. Hope you enjoy the story.
