In her previous life, she was a caster, secretly safeguarding humanity from the shadows with her colleagues.   She believed her duties ended when she died during a cleanup mission.   But fate had other plans. She awakens in a new world, with all her memories intact.   Just as she begins to hope for a peaceful life, a letter arrives – an acceptance letter from Hogwarts.   So much for the quiet, retired life she was dreaming of. Now, she must navigate this new world and figure out how to carve out the simple life she desires.   I'm utilising AI in fixing my grammar and revising my sentences. (And I'm learning from retyping everything they revised, so if you found typo, it must be me.) Also, I had AI assisting me in crafting some of the dialogues - its hard for me to grab the British slang. You may find the structure of the story a bit weird, because I started out as Chinese web novelist (though not famous, and not earning any because it's my hobby), so my writing habit have somewhat improved? Anyway, you can experience the culture different in writing in my story, I guess. -smile- The cover was made using Copilot and the tools a computer has by default, crappy, but that's my best because can't afford to commission an artist for a pretty cover. -wryly smile- PS: No guarantee on finishing the story (but I have at least 120k words drafted), because the main purpose of me writing it is, that this story had been haunting me for a few months, and it's a relief after I drained it all into a word document. You can totally skip the flashbacks if you're not interested in those parts! I've marked them in the chapter titles so you can easily choose the current timelines. And please don't worry, the flashbacks are just that – flashbacks! They won't affect the current timeline at all. You can read the story however you like, whether that's reading all the current timelines first and then the flashbacks, or reading all the flashbacks first before moving on to the current timeline.
