About

This story follows the journey of Kagiroi Masanori . A relatively normal teenage boy who attends Minami-Osaka High School as a second year. He wants nothing more than to live out the rest of his days as a kid, laughing with his friends, wasting time, and pretending that growing up is still far away.  But as the days go on, that only gets harder and harder. People grow up. And as people grow up, they separate. In middle school, Kagiroi had a group of nine friends. Their bond felt unbreakable, built through years of shared routines, dumb jokes, and after-school hangouts that seemed everlasting. But then they graduated. People went to different schools. Life moved on. Communication between everybody became less common. Kagiroi doesn't say it openly, but... He misses that former connection more than anything in the world. But on one hopeful day, Kikou, one of his closest friends, decides to host a reunion with the help of his older brother, Takaya, at their old clubhouse. A second chance for everyone to meet again, in one spot. But the world doesn't agree. Without warning, reality itself begins to fracture. The world began to transform into something unrecognizable as the sky twisted, the streets converged, and life began to fade. And the friend group that Kagiroi so desperately wanted back together is scattered across a shattered and broken world that no longer follows human logic. And even more terrifying... Not even they follow human logic anymore. Kagiroi is the first victim of this change. A change that makes him something inhuman. WHAT READERS SHOULD EXPECT FROM SHINSEIKAI 1. A philosophy-driven story with thrilling action, drama, fantasy, high-stakes conflict, and both anime-based and religious elements. Conflicts are both ideological and psychological and carry consequences. 2. A story where survival is only the beginning in both a brutal apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic setting in a desolate world. 3. A constant ideological fable where no single worldview is fully correct. 4. A deeply character-focused story where friendships and bonds are tested by both danger and belief. 5. A multi-perspective story where multiple characters with relatable personality traits and flaws will take the lead role in different arcs or chapters. 6. A slow-burning mystery where the truth of the world is never fully solved. Multiple plot twists and revelations along with sneaky foreshadowing will take place. 7. A long story that will have many chapters and arcs. The pacing in the beginning is slower, but it gradually speeds up as the story moves past the beginning.  8. Chapters usually over 1,000 words. 9. I use AI as a tool to proofread, fix grammar mistakes, and sharpen my wording, but all the ideas, plots, characters, etc are created by me. 10. Chaotic but mostly weekly release schedule. Sometimes multiple chapters will be posted in one day.
