Several years have passed since the Skylark crashed on Cradle. Wolver Squad, only just getting its bearings after recent events, gets a call to action when a weapon more devastating than anything Gremlins have built before is discovered and about to be turned on Haven. With little information to go on, Blast, Zimthose, Lance, and Balldrick must venture deep into Gremlin territory to discover what the enemy is plotting, and try to stop them before any harm can be done. But even before they can begin, all signs seem to lead to peril: Champion knights have gone missing, a vague warning from the sage-like Vise, and a new Gremlin leader more ruthless than anyone has faced before.
