The Astral Veil follows a girl named Elara Sterling, who goes on weekly hikes with her best friend, Marina Hollis. Marina usually brings along two of her friends, Rowan Adler and Nolan Brooks, and even though Elara hasn't known them long, she's slowly starting to warm up to them. Their hikes are beginning to feel like a routine she can finally relax into. But on what should have been a completely normal morning, everything changes. While Elara and Marina are walking through the woods to meet up with Rowan and Nolan, a sudden wave of energy hits, transporting all four of them to another dimension. From a distance, this strange new world looks almost identical to their own—but the closer they look, the more different everything feels. As they struggle to understand the world they've been thrown into and search for a way home, one question lingers above everything else: In a place that feels both familiar and utterly foreign... will they ever make it back?
