Brunhilda and her four friends—Mila, Natasha, Marianne, and Larissa—are killed during a freak fishing accident involving a massive blue whale, only to find themselves transported to a white void. There, they are drafted by a mysterious fox into Aetheria, a post-cataclysmic realm that is 95% ocean. Reborn as heroes, the group receives a ship, the Jade Fox , and begins their journey through a dangerous world plagued by an encroaching supernatural corruption known as the "Emerald Rot." Guided by a snarky, sentient book that chronicles their progress, the group navigates the hazards of the Azure Abyss. Despite being mocked for their "Team Squishy" party composition—featuring two healers—the women adapt quickly, evolving from novice fisherwomen into formidable warriors. They overcome increasingly deadly challenges, including the Ghost-Tuna ambush and a massive, decayed Warden within a sunken Behemoth-class dreadnought. As they gather loot, currency, and rare materials to upgrade their gear and ship, the party uncovers the overarching threat: Queen Elara the Eternal. Elara is using the Behemoths to consume the world's mana in a bid to "restore" the old, lost continents, a process that would boil the oceans and destroy the current fleet-nations. Determined to stop her, the crew reaches Level 5, solidifying their combat synergy through powerful new skills and ship upgrades. Their campaign culminates in a successful assault on the Emerald Rot Lighthouse, where they destroy the Emerald Core, blinding the Queen’s surveillance network. Now armed with the "Shattered Compass" and a reinforced, pressure-resistant Jade Fox , the group prepares for their final, desperate mission: descending into the "Hollow Current" to find the Star-Anchor before Queen Elara can claim it and rewrite the world.
