In the final days of a collapsing dynasty, one heralded by the death of their god, Kirrin and Karanel are left with little more than the crumbling manor they once called home. Their father, hollowed out by their mother's death, remains the only family they have-but has long since abandoned them in every way that matters. Left alone in a fading world, they struggle to preserve what remains of their family, their history, and themselves as the last echoes of a dying era unravel around them. (About: I'm a longtime Dungeon Master for Dungeons & Dragons who's finally decided to try his hand at fantasy writing. This is the first story I've shared publicly, so I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback-whether it's what resonated with you or where you think I could improve.
