They first met in kindergarten, and from that day forward, they were almost never seen apart. Wherever one of them went, the other was usually close behind. Their bond became so well-known that whenever Axel was seen alone, teachers would often ask, "Where's Asher?" When Axel first met Asher in kindergarten, he was gentle, compassionate, and endlessly caring. He remained that way throughout their childhood. But as the years passed and he entered high school, everything slowly began to change.
