Caleb of Deelen doesn’t want to be a Crafter. In the Republic of Grandahl, the people are divided. Only those who are chosen by the soul of the planet Arthesia to receive a Combat Class are granted Tier One citizenship. Those who receive a Tier Two Crafting Class toil for the rest of their lives as serfs. Failing to gain a Combat Class means you have no control over your life, and must struggle endlessly under the boot and blade of the nobility. But Caleb knows he has a grander destiny than that. Scattered memories and impressions of another life have haunted him for years. Vague memories of a distant planet named Earth linger in the back of his mind. They remind him that there was more to life than the pains of the plow and the hammer of the smith. Who or what brought his soul to this strange land, where magic and monsters loom tantalizingly out of his reach? What did they want? As shadows grew in long-forgotten corners, and powers thought lost stir, Caleb…doesn’t care. He had a horizon to grasp. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………… This is not a crafting story.  Instead, The Gold Champion is a soft LitRPG/Progression Fantasy with light Isekai elements in a fantasy world with Dungeon elements undergoing a steam tech revolution, featuring a protagonist capable of transforming into a higher state of being. Expect armored heroes as champions of their people, similar in a way to Japanese Sentai, with sprinkled elements of fantasy mecha. This story isn’t meant to be camp, but the nature of the chosen elements means there is an unavoidable amount of it. The Golden Champion updates every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
