About
The higher you climb, the closer you come to collapse. The lower you fall, the closer you come to starvation. Every month, the highest layer of Babel is lost forever. The survivors descend. They invade the layers below them, take what they need, and leave someone else to die in their place. All of them are chasing the same promise: kill enough of the strong, reach the golden gate at the bottom of the tower, and board the last ark to a new world. The Chief Inquisitor of the Holy Light believes order can still save what remains of humanity. The Ashen Scavengers believe survival belongs to whoever is ruthless enough to seize it. The Black Plague Weaver believes no one has to be abandoned if everyone becomes part of the same monstrous whole. And at the top of Babel, the Blind Prophet watches them tear each other apart. But the closer they come to the end, the clearer the truth becomes. Babel was never a sanctuary. The ark was never an escape. And the tower’s greatest cruelty was not leaving people to die at the bottom. It was forcing those who reached the top to decide how humanity should end. A dark progression fantasy about collapsing worlds, warring factions, impossible choices, and a world where every hero is someone else’s monster.
