Fifty years after the Neo-Phage rewrote what a human body could be, the world has learned to live alongside it. Splices are everywhere, glowing skin, the strength of a bear, eyes built for the dark, and Felix has spent his whole life fascinated by all of it, even though he's never had a trace of it himself.
