This is a story of Theatre and Passion. Avery, a British-French girl, has long been in love with her sister-in-law, Roman. One day at her drama school’s festival, she sees Roman kissing a classmate and is left heartbroken. She is comforted by a mysterious silver-haired student who turns out to be Claire Haskins, a famous stage actress. Hoping to distance herself from Roman, Avery runs away from home and begins a new life with the support of Claire and her classmates. As Avery becomes involved in a school theater competition and forms bonds with many talented students, she slowly finds friendship, healing, and a sense of self beyond her painful first love. This work was ranked 42nd among roughly 2,000 submissions in the 7th Alphapolis Light Literature Awards.
