Prologue This is a tale of ancient times, a world where the human and demon race has long since been divided. 1,000 years ago, humans and demons fought for world dominance, driving the entirety of Britannia into chaos. Due to the collective efforts of the world’s strongest mages, a spell was chanted, creating a seal that banished the Demon Race back to Hell. In the following years, humanity had finally seemed to get back on its feet, and the hysteria of demons possibly remaining on Earth had long since been mollified. In present days, “Britannia’s Great War” had largely been forgotten about. However, there stood a remnant of the war that stood the test of time. A story that’d be retold for hundreds of years to come. And this story… was the tale of the renowned Meliodas and the mystery of his sudden disappearance.
