In 2011, the sky over the small coastal town of Hinanae turned red, a flood came out of nowhere, and fifteen-year-old Hiori vanished into the water without a trace. They never found a body. They called it a freak storm and told the girl who loved him to move on but she never could. Five years later, her walls are still covered in papers and string and one impossible theory the whole town calls madness: that the flood came out of the Twilight Forest, and that Hiori never died at all.
