Willow Creek is an ordinary small town located in the northern side of the United states, a boring one but Dan Williams thinks it's an intimate place. Dan is your avarage everyday teenager, he loves playing with his friend's Gameboy, he prefers readings comics rather than playing soccer outside. Dan is usually polite and calm, he's not close to a bully but he's closer to that than being a victim. In the early 2000s, on 29th of August, the folks safety in that place will get violated by outsiders. Not the type of outsiders who came all the way from another town or another state, not even another country, nor a continent. But from a different time period. Some wear frock coats Some wear tunics Some wear more modern enhanced types of clothes, that Dan Williams wouldn't have known about if not for them. Sixteen-year-old Dan thought his biggest concern would be to survive another year in high school. Now he's bound to save the place he once called home
