The demon prince, Bane, must be wed, and Isolde Tillcot is selected by the humans for the honor. But she has no desire to marry the tempestuous prince and her twin brother, Adrian, cannot bear to see her throw her life away. So, the two siblings agree to a plan: Adrian will take his sister’s place at the altar while she flees the city. Bane is intrigued by his unexpected intended, but that does not mean he won’t punish Adrian for trying to deceive him. Now married and taken to the castle, Adrian must navigate a dangerous and demonic world. Bane, however handsome, is aloof and controlling of his every move. Despite their animosity, they must play the part of prince and consort in the public eye. Adrian knows this is only supposed to be a political marriage. He should NOT develop feelings for the arrogant demon lord, but he can’t help but remain drawn to him.
