Viktor Engres has spent the past decade of his life playing the universally disliked video game Empyrean Tower, and was the only person to try and tackle the top floor. When he finally conquers the last level, he is left feeling empty. However, the feeling is short-lived. He awakes to find the Tower has appeared in real life. Viktor must now use all the knowledge he accumulated these past ten years, to beat enemies, find items, and get the skills needed to usurp the Empyrean Tower. All while making friends, conquering enemies, and differentiating friend from foe.
