In a futuristic world where people upgrade their bodies with parts from various companies, there's a teenager named Novel Lau. Unlike most people, he refuses to replace any parts of his body with organic materials despite struggling to keep up with society. Novel's life changed after two people barged into his apartment. Rella Chixue and Vortex Al Bruno are the Shifters, part of an organization called Glass. Eventually, Novel joined them because of the interesting benefits. The three of them formed as a team, taking missions and completing them. Sometimes they are serious; sometimes they make dumb mistakes, doing anything that works for their mission to complete.
