Kaédros awakens in a body that isn't human: that of a small tyrannosaur-shaped monster called a Rainus. His peaceful stay in the forest is interrupted by a force that makes every dark power tremble. One that corrupts every being it touches. His goal, which starts as simply protecting his forest from this threat, quickly escalates into confronting the full scale of the threat this corruption represents. You gain subjects who help you on this journey, mostly unintentionally. Subjects who need a place to live and weapons to fight with. Everything spirals out of his hands as his small actions bring about huge consequences. Always starting from the very bottom until becoming something hard to ignore. What to expect? *A protagonist who always climbs up from rock bottom. *A very unusual system with some inspiration from "Crysalis." *A world that's a bit upside-down compared to other monster-reincarnation stories. *A positive-minded protagonist, sometimes overly so—if that's not your thing, consider yourself warned. *The protagonist's fighting style is unconventional, not specialized in magic or brute-force combat. Martial arts adapted to a tyrannosaur. *A pretty unusual author — I don't have the whole story planned out or many chapters written in advance. Which means one chapter a week, maybe two if inspiration hits hard.
